A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

When Zombie Rituals Tapes, the department of Blood Harvest Record who released a dozen of demos on tapes in the second part of the 00s, released the demo of Bastard Priest called “Merciless Insane Death” the reputation went sky high. Not long after they released two full lengths in 2010 and 2011…the two bastards became silent, which wasn’t strange as they broke up.

After 9 years the EP “Vengeance… of the Damned” is there and is filled with crunchy, grinding and pounding Old School Death Metal in the vein of Entombed, Under the Church and Pyre…the effective hack, slash and bash on guitars and drums with the well-known groove.

Compared with “Ghouls Of The Endless Night” this one is sounding even more possessed enhanced by the filthier vocals, therefore “Vengeance…of the Damned” is a great EP. (Ricardo)
