A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Yes, Impaled Nazarene strikes again! This is their 6th album and they’re still going strong without repeating themselves!

On this album, they’ve more or less returned to the style of their first two albums. Although they never really changed, they had some Crustcore influences on ‘Latex cult’ and ‘Rapture’. I think the addition of Alexi “Wildchild” from Children Of Bodom was a great one. You can hear some more catchy riffing (listen to ‘Post eclipse era’, ‘Assault the weak’ or ‘Nihil’ to hear what I mean) which makes the typical raging Impaled Nazarene-style even better!

You get 10 new blasting songs that will make sure that ‘Angel rectums still bleed’. Fortunately, they’re not just blasting without end but have enough variation in their songs and even a completely mid-paced track called ‘How the laughter died’.

Fuck, if you love Impaled Nazarene, you won’t be disappointed, and if you want some great Nuclear Metal/cybersado metal/Black Metal or whatever you wanna call it, get this album!!
