A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

A new killer band on Spinefarm Records and Nuclear Blast! They’re basically mixing all kinds of (extreme) Metal together and creating a pretty original sound. They play a mix of Thrashy Death Metal with slight Black Metal ideas and lots of melody and solos that remind you of some guitar heroes. The keyboardist also has some input that perfectly complement the more brutal riffs. I

‘m not really sure what else to say about this new and brilliant band? Maybe it says enough they’re going on tour with a huge act like Cradle of Filth in May, doesn’t it? It’s just a shame that the album is only a little over half an hour long. Oh yeah, the claim in the album adverts that Alexi Laiho also plays in Thy Serpent is already outdated. He was actually kicked out of that band because he was spending too much time on this one.

If you ask me, he might be able to make a bigger impact with this band.
