A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Bloody hell! After the EP, which was also reviewed in this zine, I was expecting a real banger, but this is even better!

You could certainly compare this album to the latest Vader. If you’re after a truly cracking slab of brutal Death Metal, you simply can’t ignore this album. It’s only just under 32 minutes, but oh so good! They primarily play at an up-tempo pace, but with plenty of variation and a catchy twist to the tracks.

Highlights? The entire album! But just to name a few numbers: ‘Shit Comes Brown’, ‘To Red Ones’, ‘About Death’. It’s actually telling enough that this band will be touring with Cannibal Corpse soon.

Now then, who dares to say that Death Metal is dead after giving this album a listen?
