This band has already released a mini-cd, and now their first album is a fact. This band contains members which you all know, and who want to wipe out the human race, at least, judging by their titles and music. Very intense, furious Black Metal with, at times, a líttle touch of Thrash, with very intense speeds but with mid-paced parts as well.
In about thirty minutes War rages through 11 songs (of which one is a cool version of Sodom’s ‘Bombenhagel’), which sound very hateful and destructive. They are played good and tight, but aren’t tremorly original. I also don’t know if this album is more brutal than ‘Total War’ and sometimes the songs just stop, and I wonder if this is done on purpose or if it’s a mistake…
Still the atmosphere of this album is good, as well as the music, and will show you what hostillity and velocity ‘sound’ like.
