Alongside albums from bands that are making increasingly mellow music (I recently bought the first two Elend albums for example), I also buy these mega-noisy CDs. And the new Impaled Nazarene is one of them. Fucking awesomely savagery! Black Metal, Nuclear metal, Crustcore, whatever you want to call it; it goes down so damn easily and before you know it, it’s over.
All the tracks are played at top speed except for the incredibly cool mid-tempo ‘Phallus Maleficarum’. Impaled Nazarene won’t win any new fans with this, but those who already like them will absolutely love it. The titles are still hilarious: ‘6th Degree Mindfuck’, ‘We’re Satan’s Generation’, ‘Goatvomit and Gasmasks’ and ‘The Pillory’ to name a few.
And for those who have something to say against Impaled Nazarene: “Go get fucked if you are not one of the bestial ones!!”
