Once started in Cuba but nowadays Dakkar is spreading his darkness from his headquarters in Spain, a darkness that has sharp up-tempo riffs as well as slower melancholic passages.
Well and clear produced Black Metal with its roots in the Scandinavian Second Wave era when talking about the fast tremolo riffs which have quite a melodic approach. A fine example of it is the opening riff of “Nox Arcana” which has 90s written all over it.
“Svmma Cvm Nox Arcana” won’t stand out in the masses but is certainly a likeable album.
