Although there isn’t any information about the individuals who are responsible for this evil existence, it seems ex-members of Valkyrja and Rev 16:8 are behind this blackened orchestra.
It is clear Flykt is rooted in the Swedish Black Metal scene, combining haunting mid-tempo passages with up-tempo riffing attacks resulting “Charnel Heart” as a vehicle of the adversary, the death of the man and elevation of the beast. With some later Marduk approaches, as well as Valkyrja, Watain and Dissection, Flykt managed to create a dark solid debut which will hopefully results in a second album that rises the level a bit more.
