UK’s Spearhead plays a welcome mix of Black/Thrash and Death Metal and for the sake of comparison, I mention Marduk / Nocturnal Breed and Asphyx respectively.
Marduk being brought in mind, because of the pummeling speed Spearhead shifts into every now and then, and Nocturnal Breed for their smoking and filthy Thrash. The Asphyx element is most often used. The heavier and lower than thou riffs plus accompanying pulling teeth leads does that trick. All though the execution of all this is not as tight as it could be, the blend of types of music being performed doesn’t really demand it.
Yep, this is fuming and smouldering metal and can be best consumed with your best buddy aka beer and played before or after the latest Repugnant.
