A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Invictus Productions have released a string of great albums from bands such as Abhorration, Grave Infestation and Necromaniac as of recent, and that same quality seems to only continue when it comes to the new Crucifixion Ritual Demo. This release, containing four songs of absolute madness in the vein of Blasphemy and Bestial Warlust, is almost as crushing as it can get and well worthy of a listen from all fans of Bestial Back Metal.

Each song on this demo is named after one of the angels from heaven, immediately following a form of torture, which is exactly what this demo stands for. Not much has changed since their last review on VM-Underground and that can be seen as a good thing since this style of Metal has such an unrelenting and uncompromising quality. The crushing guitar tones and blast beats speak for themselves as the listener cannot find a moment to breathe throughout the entirety of this demo.

Overall, if you liked their first demo there is no reason you should not like this release, and for all who have not heard this band but adore old Archgoat and Proclamation I would only say the same thing. Blasphemous uncompromising metal in the name of Satan himself!
