Although Jani Koskela and Sameli Köykkä having played in more than 1 or 2 bands, both Saattue members decided it was time to create some dark Death Metal. When it comes to lyrics, the band is influenced by global death rite and dark folklore traditions, as well as hermetic alchemy. No surprise the Death Metal has a doomy edge, concerning the musical experiences of both. It’s not as massive as Incantation or Cruciamentum, but nevertheless a good listen. (Ricardo)
