No rest for the wicked! In under a year, Adam Skalpel Stasiak has assembled another 150 pages, which is a remarkable feat. Anyone who follows Necroscope knows that he has been sustaining this pace for years.
Once again, the reader is treated to a plethora of underground acts, with Nunslaughter standing out as the most prominent name. Also featured are Tomb, Deconsekrated, Shitangel, Unholy Redeemer, and Vrykolakas, complete with a massive ten page interview. On top of that, there is a massive load of reviews, including a dedicated section for fanzines. And when I speak of a massive load, I really mean it, as there are close to 250 reviews packed inside.
My comment regarding the layout, which I mentioned with issue #40, still stands, but I don’t see why Stasiak would change his way of working; never change a winning team.
Overall, this is another issue that will keep you occupied for a while. Seeing as issue #42 came out not so long ago as well, there is no reason not to grab them both.
