Death Metal! Satanic Death Metal. Pure satanic Death Metal. Finally Nunslaughter releases their debut album after a number of demos, 7”, splits and so on.
Raw, a speed balance of fast and mid-pace and a granular overall sound. So are the vocals, sort of a screaming grunt, and I’m not really moved by this. Pretty cool songs, rather simple setup though, lyrics that leave everything to the imagination when reading the song titles (‘Burning Away’, ‘Impale The Soul’, ‘Buried Alive’ for instance) and the feeling you get from the songs is pretty good. Old school Death Metal breathes forth a certain atmosphere and that’s really noticeable here!
I do think the production could have been better but I also think this way the songs express themselves better. If you like it, check it out.
