A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

This Swedish Vomination are throwing in some old school material on some old school format. That is how you can make me smile, some raw and obscure black, death, thrash or grindcore on 7” EP. Vomination is a raw sounding Swedish death metal band that plays the brand of death metal like it was played at the end of the eighties by bands like Immolation and Morbid Angel. The production of this EP is something to spend a few words on, though it is very clear it is still rather vague and messy, which result in a very remarkable and unique sound that fits the band and the songs very well. Vocally the singer combines both screams and deep grunts and adds to the variation and makes Vomination even more a band to keep an eye on.
