A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Koldovstvo (vocals, guitars) and Haereticus (drums) from Canada started Sortilegia back in 2010 to create some raw and bleak Black Metal. After 2 demos Ván Records released their debut full-length called “Arcane Death Ritual” which was the beginning to spread their hypnotic riff driven dark art. With releasing “Sulphurous Temple” this somber duo are continuing the plague, as it is filled with desolate crude Black Metal. The tortured vocals of Koldovstvo are an asset on this album. Musically you can compare Sortilegia with an act like Mare, but with the note that the vocals are different. If you like “unpolished”, “despair” and “grim” in combination with your daily dose of Black Metal, you have to write an album on your want-list. (Ricardo)
