Emerging from the American underground, Enthroning Nightfall channels the spirit of classic mid-90s Black Metal through a haze of nocturnal atmosphere and grim melodicism.

The duo of Lord Nachzherer and Lord Avgrunn von Ravenlock deliver an EP that feels proudly detached from modern trends, embracing darkness, mysticism and raw conviction above all else.

Across its four tracks, ‘The Infernal Masquerade’ balances sharp tremolo-picked melodies with a cold, dungeon-like atmosphere. Rather than pursuing relentless speed, the EP favours mood and immersion, allowing riffs to breathe while spectral synths and shadowy vocals deepen the sense of occult grandeur.

The title track stands out as the release’s centrepiece, capturing the project’s blend of sinister elegance and traditional Black Metal ferocity.

What makes the EP particularly appealing is its sincerity, as Enthroning Nightfall avoids overproduced theatrics, instead crafting music that feels genuinely rooted in the underground tradition. The result is a compact but effective release that evokes moonlit forests, forgotten kingdoms and the eternal allure of darkness.
