Finnish Black Metal in combination with the label Purity Through Fire, it is a win-win combination the last two years if you ask me. With Aegrus and their “In Manus Satanas”, their third full-length, released by Saturnal Records on CD and Purity Through Fire on 12” vinyl, and the release prior to this EP, was received very well and not only by us.
Both songs, “Wolves of Belial” and “Flames of Revenge” are pure and classical Black Metal with lots of tremolo riffs, cold and melodic melodies and a wholehearted devotion towards the black flame called Finnish Black Metal. A powerful EP filled with 2 songs that stand out because of the song writing; well done! (Ricardo)
