Started their rotten journey in 2015 and created so many cool tracks that they even bothered to release a demo or an EP and went straight for a full-length. From the very first second you have that warm and satisfying “oh boy oh boy oh boy, this is Old School to the bone!”-feeling and let me tell you that your ears aren’t betraying you. There isn’t a full blast-fest on “…In The Cemetery”, as the drums are the groove machine on which the riffs are swaying their Dance Macabre on.
Although there is a hint of the golden era-Swedeath, the emphasis is more towards old Pestilence and Asphyx and not in the last place by the Martin van Drunen-like vocals of Jardel Stick. This is one fine OSDM debut by Echoes of Death and if you are enjoying a new OSDM act like Pyre, you will probably enjoy this one as well. (Ricardo)
