A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

From Sinnsvall, Sweden comes Dråp (Murder in English), a five-piece death/grind/crust band with its second album “Roten Till Allt Ont”. The record starts with the crushing blastbeat whirlwind of “Ner Pa Kna” and shows that those guys know pretty well what they are doing. DRÅP’s music is dark, aggressive but still with slight melodic elements that keep the music interesting. You can hear parts reminding of Driller Killer, Rotten Sound or Nasum but DRÅP manage to sound like an original band whose goal is to rip your head off with heavy sound and they succeed in that matter for sure. The sound is raw and dirty, the songs possess the needed variety in them so if you need some qualitative death/crust/grind, DRÅP is what you should be looking for. (Zvetan)
