A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Black/Death/Thrash from Sweden. Hail. That could be enough sometimes, but that would be too easy right? Beastiality are active since 2011 and released some demos, a split, a live album and so on. Now they finally released their debut album with an excellent artwork by Daniel“Nekronikon“ Corcuera. The production is raw, yet everything is audible and fitting to the sound. Chaotic riffs, pounding drums, shrieky vocals, and a bass you would have loved to hear in the 80s (deep, rumbling, with a bit of fuzz). A lot of Nifelheim is in it, some Sabbat (Japan), Watain (on the thrashier side) and a lot of 80s Black/Thrash (South American be(a)stiality included). This stuff is just great frenzy extreme metal. Buy it If you are true to the bone. (DPF)
