Formed in 2019, Philadelphia’s Accursed Womb have made quite the splash in the underground metal scene with their brand of murky and dystopian formula of Death Metal. They have yet to release a full length album but through the plethora of EPs and split releases, they’ve made quite the impact and have no plans to slow down their momentum.
‘Hymns of Blasphemous Fornication’ is a nearly 50 minute compilation of Accursed Womb EPs dating back to 2022, including their ‘Crown of Piss’ EP, ‘Prison Coward’ EP, ‘Promo 2023’ demo and the ‘Promo 2026’ demo, available on CD via Nespithe Records on August 21st internationally.
If no frills Death Metal is your thing, Accursed Womb’s discography is absolutely worth checking out and this compilation displays how much the band has grown and evolved over the years without letting go of their sheer brutality.
