Info

UK Old School Death Metal is alive and kickin’ without any doubt, although the phrase “alive and kickin’” is a bit odd regarding the musical style and themes. Oozing and rottin’ it is!

Ryan Wills, the lad behind this one-man project, isn’t one who makes life difficult as Seven Doors is straightforward Old School Death Metal…and good solos. Although the basis is 90s US Death Metal, during “Blinding Horrors” he adds a bit of a doomy Asphyx passage but then easily transforms the song into a Death rhythm riff and solo, James Murphy style. You will hear old Deicide, old Cannibal Corpse, Sinister’s “Cross the Styx” as well and solos…oh the sweet solos; just give “Cellar Dweller” a listen and when you’re at it, just give the whole EP a good listen cause it is a fine one.

Fulci, zombies, horror, 90s Death Metal…this review could be a lot shorter…
