Sometimes you almost know what a band will sound like based on their name before hearing a note of music and Pig’s Blood are the perfect example of this. ‘Destroying the Spirit’ is the band’s third album marking it as a sort of comeback since it’s the first full length by them to come out in seven years.
Much like prior albums, Pig’s Blood hold back zero punches in their delivery of absolutely balls to the wall War Metal supremacy. If bands such as Antichrist Siege Machine and Revenge are kind of your bag, then ‘Destroying the Spirit’ will certainly please your appetite and clocking in at a 33 minute mark makes sure the message is loud and clear without overstaying its welcome.
