Nighnacht’s first full length release is a mid tempo Black/Death record and is a side project of Don of the Dead (Nunslaughter).
This project reminds me of Impetigo and Macabre especially with the vocals being so grotesque and shriek heavy, very disgusting. The guitar riffing is very dissonant and Denial of God’ influenced especially on songs like ‘Torn Apart by Wild Dogs’ and ‘Spirits’. Nighnacht is badass and wears many of their influences on their sleeve and we are here for it.
Recommended for fans of Acid Witch and any of the bands mentioned above.
