War-themed Death Metal, Old School and grooving, where have we heard that before? Without pointing out the obvious Bolt Thrower link, or UK in general one if you include Benediction, Kriegszittern plays crusty and furious grinding Death Metal from the trenches while the bullets are whizzing by. The UK connection is undeniable in this matter.
This compilation features the ‘Yellow Cross’ album (2018), the ‘Stratofortress’ demo (2019) and 3 live recordings. Expect unpolished old-school Death Metal with headbanging grooves, heavily influenced by early Bolt Thrower.
It is as effective as taking a Flammenwerfer to a bare knuckle fight.
