The dark atmosphere on Feral Forms’ ‘Through Demonic Spell’, betrays a specific kind of Death Metal, which some of you will easily categorise as Death/Black Metal.
As with their EP ‘Premalignant’, there is undoubtedly a form of violence being directed at you, and those in the Sepulchral Voice Records camp (Black Curse, Concrete Winds, etc.) should definitely give it a listen to see if it matches their self-appointed standards.
While it is by no means a poor effort and certainly earns my approval, I find that Feral Forms’ debut album lacks that final, decisive spark.
