Much like my recent Decipher review another band that I am quite impressed with. Take a sound much like Behemoth but with a more prominent Florida death metal sound. You also hear plenty of Morbid Angel, Monstrosity, and Chaos Inception. When you look at the band members, you can see the pedigree involved and what the songwriting will be like. The members have or have been associated with the likes of Lecherous Nocturne, Zeal, and Nile. So you get my drift.
The power and the energy in the songs are through the roof. The excellent production helps with this fact and with the 8 songs contained, your ears will be pummeled and beaten at a perfect 35 minutes. They get in, get out, and leave you wanting more. The vocals are a cross between Corpsegrinder and Mike Hrubovcak and fit the songs with a variety of roars and growls that just accentuate everything.
Not going to get into the musicianship itself but look at the aforementioned bands and you will know the sound in which to expect. I have mentioned before, that I just enjoy those albums that are full of energy and power and not too drawn out leaving you maybe a bit bored or tired of the unrelenting fury of the songs. Also nothing here is groundbbreaking or haven’t been heard before but you do have to appreciate the effort and the sheer energy involved. Definitely a band with a sound that should make you sit up and take notice because it most definitely did.
So if you are a fan of the aforementioned bands. Give this a try.
