A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

What country are they from? I dunno… How many cd’s have they released? I dunno… How many band members are there? I dunno… I had never heard of this band before and I didn’t receive any ‘accompanied‘ info. As their label sent their cd to VM, you can bet your ass it’s Extreme Metal!

And it is: death metal. 10 Tracks of fast and mid-tempo Death Metal. Nice songs, well played but they all miss conviction. Their music is ok, but it’s not really original, and after a while the feeling of: ”Yeah, I know this already” starts creeping up on you. For people that go wild on mediocre Death Metal this can be a good release, but if you’re looking for something more outrageous, you’d better listen first.

Some more innovation and variety wouldn’t kill anybody next time.
