Chile drops some Extreme Metal again! This time the debut full-length of Antagonyze, as most consider ‘Echoes from Soul’ as their demo and not their first full-length, despite it contains 10 tracks.
But now we are on the subject of ‘Echoes from Soul’, Antagonyze has selected a couple of songs of which they thought were the best, and recorded them for ‘Interpretations of the Unknown Wilderness’. Music wise these South-Americans took a good look at the dark and doomy North-American Death Metal acts of the 90s, like The Chasm. These guys give it certain twist with some progressive ideas, but still keeping it Old School Death Metal with some Thrashy riffs.
This will not please every Death Metal enthusiast, so give it a listen before spending your money on it, but I’m sure some of you will enjoy it without any doubt.
