A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Wode is now a Death/Black Metal band from Manchester, Greater Manchester, England in the United Kingdom (they were once just Black Metal). They just so happened to have dropped their third full-length album in 2021 with ‘Burn In Many Mirrors’ here. So what did we find two years late to the party?

We find a very competent and tight Death/Black Metal band that knows who they are and where they come from. In other words Wode’s ‘Burn In Many Mirrors’ sounds like a mix of Necrophobic and Sacramentum with some minor nods to Thrash and Speed Metal mixed in here in there most tongue in cheek style.

In the end ‘Burn In Many Mirrors’ is a ripper of a Death/Black Metal album that is sure to please the masses. There’s really not much more to it than that.
