If you’re a fan of early Morbid Angel, then Egregore is a band you absolutely need to check out. Their relentless blast beats, combined with dark atmospheric passages, create an intense and captivating listening experience. ‘It Echoes in the Wild’ is packed with razor-sharp riffs, chaotic songwriting, outstanding guitar solos, and constant tempo changes that keep you on edge from start to finish.

Egregore delivers a powerful blend of Black, Death and Thrash metal, capturing the raw aggression and spirit of the late ’80s and early ’90s while adding their own modern touch. You can clearly hear influences from classic Slayer, but the band never sounds like a copy. Instead, they build upon those foundations with subtle progressive twists and groovy moments that give the songs extra depth and impact.

The production is massive without sacrificing the raw energy that makes Extreme Metal so compelling. Every instrument has its place, allowing the crushing riffs and thunderous drumming to shine. This album feels like a tribute to the golden era of Extreme Metal while proving that this style is still very much alive in 2026.

If you crave old-school brutality with enough originality to keep things fresh, this is an album that deserves your attention. Egregore absolutely nailed it.
