Alexis Chiambretto is the sole mastermind behind the new French Black Metal band Unholdun. And with help from Purity Through Fire Records they have released their debut recording in the 2022 self-titled EP we are reading about now. And what does this new band’s debut EP sound like?
Well, it sounds like a love letter to classic 1990’s Black Metal. Nothing exploratory, no new schemes. Just really damn good Black Metal that injects everything he, Alexis Chiambretto, and we, all of us, truly, maybe even Trve-ly, love about the genre from the 90’s in general. And that’s it.
