A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

The man behind this vulgar Old School Death Metal outfit from Liverpool, United Kingdom, is Joe Bradley. If you may ask yourself; “have I heard that name before” or have a Grace Jones – “I’ve seen that face before”-moment…the good man spent a couple of years in Cryptic Shift and did a thing or two on their highly acclaimed “Visitations from Enceladus” album, which was released in 2020 by Blood Harvest.

With Trench Foot Joe keeps this a solo project and plays Old School Death Metal, the brutal down-tuned and visceral kind and heavily inspired by 70s/80s horror and splatter films. Ultra-low growls, samples of the aforementioned films, chunky mid-tempo groove riffs along with up-tempo outbursts, Trench Foot doesn’t do something you hear for the first time, but aficionados of the style will enjoy this for sure.

Eviscerated and lifeless as the rot embalms your fetid remains…
