This CD starts with a very beautiful and calm intro. I sit back, relax and wait for things to come. And then…GUURRRGHHAAAARGHBANGBANGBANG!! You know, Australian death/black bands are probably the most extreme bands in the world. Psychrist is another furious raging band. The sound we already know from bands like Bestial Warlust, Sadistik Exekution and Razor of Occam can be heard. The production could be better, the vocals are pretty hard to follow. Due to some slower parts the music doesn’t become monotonous or boring, so the 45 minutes are over before you know it. By the way, these recordings already date from 1996. (Stijn)
