A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Nebula Orionis from Russia is a one man project that is not easy to categorize. The range goes from atmospheric Post-Black Metal over Ambient to just a soundtrack of movie that hasn‘t been produced yet.

“Ashes” completes the conceptual trilogy which started with “Starthrone” and continued with “To keep the Flame burning”. Both also reviewed in our zine.

As always we can hear the typical symphonic spacy canvas with the significant synthesizer sounds that keeps reminding me of an old Korg or Roland synthesizer. The Black Metal like guitar is far in the background. They just give the tracks the final touch.

In my opinion this EP is just another great masterpiece of cinematic space music. A perfect soundtrack for a blockbuster in your head. (HaCeBo)
