A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

“The Great Adjudication” is a searing and well executed Black Metal record that pushes the boundaries of Atmospheric and Progressive styles. The Black Metal monsters from Australia pulled out all the stops on this gut ripping record!

Musically, this record gives us so much to take in, from the higher ripping vocals to the brutally constructed guitar lines that all blend together to deliver one powerful connection full of emotion and violence. The vocal range is something to behold, from high pitch ear splitting wails to low throaty grit blended perfectly with cleaner lyrical runs to give us more diversity than we know what to do with. The guitar tone is modern in shape and heavy as hell, yet still delivers that classic style of dissonance and clarity all at once. This album will smother you in layers of dark atmosphere and will not let up until it closes after 75 minutes of sweet torture. Undoubtedly a true modern Black Metal masterpiece. (Azag Galla)
