A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Ahhhh, Finnish Black Metal. A place (regional subgenre) many of us know and love oh so well. With the likes of the legendary Horna or Sargeist to Behexen to Azaghal and even Satanic Warmaster, Finland has a sound onto its own. And Malum here are not the ones to break away from that sound but hold it close, cherish it and make it their own.

That’s right, Malum are nothing groundbreaking or super innovative. But when it comes to Finnish Black Metal of this ilk is that what we want? Not really. We want heavy, rocking, raw and ripping Black Metal the way the Fins know how to do. Yet is ‘Devil’s Creation’ any good though? Hell yeah it is. Malum have always been a band putting out Finnish Black Metal of the highest quality and ‘Devils Creation’ does not break that streak. A banger.
