Raw atmospheric Black Metal from the USA, with well-experienced personnel as there are (ex-)members of Sempiternal Dusk, Uada, Shroud of the Heretic, Skeletal Remains and Ænigmatum in the band.
As said, the Black Metal itself is raw yet morbid and depressive while the atmospheric part is more suffocating than “icy”. As the vocals are more in the background of the mix, it enhances the suffocating vibe.
A very well done album and worth checking out if you appreciate the thought of a mix of the Les Légions Noires scene with the Nordic one.
