A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

After 5 years of silence and releasing several demos, EPs and a split with Unholy Crucifix, Black Feast and Usurpateur, Abhorrot released their debut full-length of ancient and dark Death Metal with the unholy atmosphere of Black Metal to hit the last nail in the coffin.

This Austrian lurking menace are not inventing the successor of the wheel, sort of speak, but do play the drowning in gloom riffs with a fitting sound in the vein of Incantation (check out “(Ascent from) the Towers of Silence”), Demoncy and Teitanblood. The vocals are dwelling with the riffs and the bass is roaring as an engine to back up the riffs and it all fits like a glove.

As said, nothing new, but well executed Extreme Metal is a treat for your ears as well.
