Info

A decade after the debut album ‘Schatten des Gewitters, ‘Wolfish Grandeur’ saw the light in 2021. Clocking in at over an hour, this release delivers a hefty dose of misanthropic German Black Metal.

Although not an essential album by any means, it has its strong moments within the hour of 90s European Black Metal. Vocals that range from raspy screams to tortured howling raw vocals as well as an heroic clean one, it gives the variation it needs, because as said…’ Wolfish Grandeur’ lasts more than a hour.

A descent second album from this German act who doesn’t need to receive a bad word about how they execute the style they’re playing. Yet it lacks that bit of extra, be it in the riffs or songwriting, to get some more notice. But, still decent.
