A little snifter between the second and third album and with ‘Slash ‘n Roll’ Heads for the Dead are presenting 3 Horror flick themed tracks as well as 2 covers of both Misfits (‘Skulls’) and Ramones (‘Pet Sematary’).
The 3 tracks are about Maniac, Halloween and The Thing and although I enjoyed the Halloween theme embedded in the track, I consider all 3 tracks not as a continuation of where Heads for the Dead has left with ‘Into the Red’, as the song writing is a bit more straightforward, still dark but lesser obscure. I assume not a teaser for the 3rd album.
