A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Hmmm… this album starts of with a melodic Black Metal track, with keyboards, screams and everything. But song no. 2 starts with a riff that resembles the intro riff of Gorefest’s ‘Confessions of a serial killer’ and has Death grunts in it. Weird! But later in the song the keyboards and screams return.

The rest of the album is about the same picture. Melodic Black and Death Metal entwined with a touch of Doom. It has some really good moments, but to be honest, I don’t think I’ll be listening to it too often. Probably a few times a year. Not that it’s bad, but I have so much stuff to listen to and this one is a bit too average to draw too much attention, I think.
