A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

This is certainly music I can enjoy. This furious combination of Black and Death Metal sounds quite convincing, although not too original. I would compare them with a band like Naglfar, or old Dark Tranquillity. The vocals are more Death Metal oriented, it reminds me a bit of the vocals on the early Amon Amarth material.

By now you must have guessed that they sound quite Swedish. That certainly is the case, although some of the melodic guitar parts remind me of Cradle of Filth’s ‘Dusk… and her Embrace’ album. I know there are many albums like this one in the market, but this certainly is a cool release. I hope that they’ll develop a bit more of an own sound. I’m convinced that it must be possible.
