It had been a long time since I last heard something truly unholy, blasphemous in both body and soul, that made me shudder to my very core, until this amazing demo by Απέχθεια fell into my hands.
With an exceptional Greek name, as said the act is called Απέχθεια, and the title of their second work is ‘Θεόπτυστον Έργον’ (Abominable Work) Three tracks, one of which is an incredibly sick and blasphemous intro, pin you against the walls of the darkest wells of eternal darkness. This unholy creation concludes with two full tracks: a true invocation of the Devil. In a strange way, they brought to mind Emperor’s epic demo, ‘Wrath of the Tyrant’.
To wrap things up, I must praise the excellent cover art of this release. You can get their music via their Bandcamp page and I recommend it without hesitation!
