A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Black Mold – The Unnatural Red Glow Of The Night [EP]

Black mold, stachybotrys chartarum, is not something that is very nice for us, the plague of humans that we are, to be around for any extended period of time. It can give you major nasal mucus and make it hard to breathe. Well, the same can basically be said about the musical Black Mold. For their raw Black Metal Punk is covered in glorious mucus-y slime while also making it hard to breathe. But unlike the toxic real mold counterpart, Black Mold’s music is something that is good to be around for brief to extended periods of time. And ‘The Unnatural Red Glow Of The Night’ is worth the slime and breathing issues; many, many listens worth.
