A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

When it comes to downright profane and blasphemous music, Speedkiller’s ‘Inferno’ delivers a brutal fusion of Black, Death and Thrash, infused with the speed and intensity of classic Speed Metal. From the start, the album grabs you with the mystical intro ‘The Birth of Immortal Evil’, only to throw you headfirst into a relentless storm of Yan Nielsen’s thunderous vocals, sharp, evil guitars and the crushing force of Hellkratus’ thunderous drums, all perfectly anchored by Allefer Rocha’s tight, precise bass.

Tracks like ‘Blair’ and ‘Serpent Doom’ evoke pure malevolence, packed with filthy, high-speed riffs that pair perfectly with the relentless drumming. While no album is truly perfect, ‘Inferno’ comes dangerously close, proving essential listening for those craving raw, unfiltered darkness. Speedkiller channels the essence of old-school extreme metal, delivering an experience so intense it’ll have you headbanging until your neck gives way.

A band seemingly forged in the depths of hell, they pay true homage to the legends of the past while charting their own path of destruction. If you like bands like Diabolic Night, Vampire (Sweden), Evilcult or even the old Slayer, don’t miss this infernal masterpiece of the Brazilian underground!
