Haemalharia’s ‘Vast Roar Okkulus’ is a 2025 full‑length released on Sect Entropy, limited to 100 cassette copies, and built around the duo C.G. (Pale Spektre, ex-Blasphemous Blood Revenge, ex-Ch’ahom, ex-Harm Wulf, ex-Noxia) and Hekla (Hadopelagyal, Necropolissebeht, Pale Spektre, ex-Gneterswart), whose strange, extraterrestrial/occult conceptual universe shapes both the track titles and the sonic identity. The CD and vinyl format were released through Amor Fati Productions.
The album runs 36:50 and contains 10 tracks, including three untitled interludes.
Haemalharia’s music reminds strongly of Hadopelagyal. ‘Vast Roar Okkulus’ is a collision of raw Black/Death Metal abrasion, alien dissonance, and ritualistic noise‑interlude architecture. The album’s bizarre lexicon (Vaengraudaz, Nubialienus, Typhokrisis…) mirrors its sonic world: warped, hostile, and deliberately “non‑human.” The guitars are jagged, scraping tremolo layers; mid‑range filth rather than high‑fidelity sharpness. Drums consist of primitive, hammering, often buried, evoking cavernous Death Metal more than orthodox Black Metal.
Vocals are completely distorted, choking, almost “mutated”; Hekla’s delivery feels like a hybrid of ritual chant and alien shriek.
S.G.’s contributions add a cosmic‑occult texture, short, unsettling bridges that make the album feel like a single descent rather than a track‑by‑track sequence.
The production is intentionally abrasive; Sect Entropy’s aesthetic leans toward raw tape extremity.
