Time for war! The Finnish band Kriegzeit goes all out on their debut album, and looking at the title, it’s clearly not about daisies, holding hands, or saying sweet things to each other.
The Black Metal Kriegzeit fires at us is mixed with punk and some questionable guitar solos, though there is also plenty of up-tempo Finnish Black Metal on display.
A certain charm? Yes. Are they going to win the war with this? No, I’m afraid not. Kriegzeit offers too little to keep you interested from the first to the last minute or to rise above being “average”.
