Polish Bezkres represent a conservative, 1990s-rooted form of Polish Black Metal. ‘Naturalna nietolerancja’ (‘Natural Intolerance’) is the second official strike from the Polish duo (Bezkres, Boundlessness in name), but in practice a band that narrows its focus to a single emotion: hatred as a natural law. Following the 2025 EP ‘Odwieczny zew agresji’, this album does not expand the band’s world; it contracts it, crushes it, grinds it down to a hostile core where nothing soft survives.
Bezkres play pure Black Metal, stripped of decoration, stripped of atmosphere, stripped of anything that might resemble human warmth. The guitars scrape forward like rusted blades, abrasive enough to flay the mix open. The tone recalls early Furia and Massemord, but with the Germanic sharpness of Graupel and Todeskult, a hybrid of Polish cruelty and German severity. The production is intentionally barren: no reverb, no fog, no mercy. Every sound is exposed, naked, and hostile.
The vocals are not performed; they are expelled, spat out with anti-humanist contempt. They sound less like a person and more like a biological reaction, a reflex of disgust. The lyrical themes follow suit: biological determinism, tribal hostility, anti-social philosophy. Nothing metaphorical, nothing symbolic. Just the blunt assertion that coexistence is a lie and intolerance is the only honest instinct.
Rhythmically, the album lashes out with the same violent pulse found in Szron, Kriegsmaschine, Mgła, Human Serpent, even Plaga, but without their atmosphere, without their mysticism, without their elegance. Bezkres reject all of that. They choose the most primitive path, the most direct form of aggression. Poland remains the epicenter of uncompromising Black Metal, and Bezkres stand firmly in that lineage.
The album is raw, sharp-edged, utterly unforgiving. It embodies Polish purism: cold, direct, stripped of all atmospheric crutches. It does not open, it ruptures, like a crack in the earth vomiting ancient hostility. This is Black Metal reduced to its marrow: no transcendence, no cosmic dread, no romantic decay. Only the pulse of aversion, the instinctive recoil of one organism against another.
What defines ‘Naturalna nietolerancja’ is its absolute purity of intent. Bezkres do not seek enlightenment or darkness or grandeur. They embrace the animal truth of intolerance, the fracture lines that run through existence, the natural hostility that binds nothing and divides everything. This is Black Metal as a doctrine of rejection, rejection of softness, of communion, of the world’s false warmth. And in that rejection, the band finds a brutal, ascetic beauty: a beauty carved from contempt, shaped by refusal, sharpened by the will to remain alone.
Fans of true raw Polish Black Metal need to look in the direction of Signal Rex.
