Ulveriddr is an entity in the form of a band dedicated entirely to darkness! In 2023, this unholy creation took shape within the underground Raw Black Metal scene, confronting the listener with endless dark thoughts. Four tracks, two of which serve as an intro and an outro, are filled with rage, pain, and, I dare say, outright hatred for humanity.
In my opinion, this demo release is perhaps the very definition of raw and unpolished Black Metal. The sound of this recording feels like the direct result of evil being born. It’s certainly not for everyone, but let’s not forget that this kind of music isn’t meant for everyone, nor does it suit the masses. I think the cover art gives a brutal preview of what’s to come: unsparing and merciless.
Pile of Heads Productions made a brilliant move by bringing this little gem to light, or should I say into the darkness? Featuring four tracks titled with Roman numerals, it is an authentic, cult, and truly unique demo.
